Triumph Tiger 800 XR Introduction

The Triumph Tiger 800 XR is manufactured in Hinckley, England by Triumph Motorcycles. The Tiger 800 range was first produced in 2010. Triumph took their original inspiration from the smaller Daytona 675 model.

The Triumph Tiger 800 XR is an more road-oriented adaptation of the Tiger 800 dual sport 799cc. It also has a special edition model that features a red frame and accessories.

Triumph claimed a 17% improvement in fuel economy in the 2015 with the second generation engine. Fitted with a ‘drive by wire’ throttle. At this time, traction control was included as standard.
